Short answer: yes.

Beyond that.... Are we talking physical attractiveness or character?

A person is usually considered physically attractive if they meet the criteria of the beholder, in the wider context of cultural standards. If a culture values slenderness, then slender people will be considered more attractive. Ditto for other physical traits like skin tones, eye color, and even hair style.

But a person can be stunningly beautiful outside but twisted and hideously flawed inside. Murderers, rapists, child abusers...it doesn't matter how slender they are or what beautiful faces they have; they're still ugly.

Maybe I just see their Spirit but I don't see ugly just uniqness. I looked a an ug people websites and didn't see ugly. Maybe I'm in denial about my own looks. Maybe I also a ugly but convinced myself I wasn't

Ugly is subjective. Have you ever seen an ugly tree? To the one who made it, it's absolutely beautiful.

You're judging people when you're thinking they're beautiful, just as equally as if you think they're ugly.

The human species is a disgusting vile result of murky sh*t swimming around in disgusting smelling water.

All life on this planet are consuming disgusting creatures and nothing would care if we didn't exist if not for these things called feelings and sentience. Perhaps separating us from other forms of life far less than we originally believed.

If it weren't for this little quirky self awareness thing, we'd just be any ol' dummy monkey that no one anywhere cares about. They're gross too. Still maybe emotionally smarter than you though.

This whole universe is gross.


Some of us just try to be less gross than others. And I'm thankful for those folks.

But everything alive is a disgusting pile of some sort of naturally occurring sh*t that starts breaking down into its base components immediately.

The only thing that keeps us from decaying right now is our fragile breath. And our ability to induce self denial.

It's why "God" exists. So we can pretend to be more than a degenerating amalgam of biological mess.


Even if you're sometimes seen as aesthetically pleasing, you won't be for long.


No one is beautiful. A beautiful mess maybe. LOL

I'm almost certain I can even promise you, that if you'd never seen a human being before, and you weren't already used to how we generally look, you would definitely have a WTF moment if you saw one for the first time.


You'd be like wtf? Just think of any creature you see for the first time. Aren't you more like "wtf" than "hey i wanna mate with that"? LOL

Humans are strange looking creatures. We're just in our own little heads here.


Trying to convince you of my point of view on this, is an appeal to your reasoning. It is not a reply to continue a discussion with your beauty. Or your ugly.


The way we look is just a naturally occurring biological process that we have little control over. You only have a preference for some of those combinations of crap is all.


And just as a side note to everybody fyi: Some trees are ugly. But that doesn't mean we like breathing their oxygen any less.

i dunno if yall remember the american beauty film where this " unordinary " guy was filming a bag with a camcorder.. and said to the other.. " this is the most beautiful thing i've ever seen " ..

i was 18 at the time and thought .. oh man.. this guy does not know what he's talking about!

fast forward 20 yrs.. i think i now know what its all about.. ;p
