A friend keeps overdozing on meds

You don't know until somebody does. In the meantime keep speaking out. She will die eventually. But when she does, can you look yourself in the mirror and say you did everything you could to help her. Cause I don't think sitting here today you can say that.

I told myself I would finish uni get a job and be happy but I don't think I'll make it, I feel like it's only getting harder and even if I do make it will I even be happy?

There is only one thing to do with past mistakes. Acknowledge them. Until you do you can't move on.

Time to put on the Teflon clothes and your big-girl shoes. Whenever she starts to criticize change the subject. Don't acknowledge what was said and move on. If she refuses walk away. Literally leave the room and don't stew about it. She has an opinion that you don't agree with. No reason why you should.

Buy her a bobble head figurine. She can go back home and complain to it. When jostled just right it will sit there and agree but say nothing.
